PURPOSE:To reduce the cost required for a complicated program by applying a signal to a drive unit from both distributors every time a feed speed pulse is supplied so as to move relatively a work and a tool in each direction and supplying a subtraction pulse from one distributor to the other distributor thereby operating a preset value. CONSTITUTION:Both the distributors 12a, 12b apply a signal to drive units 13X-13Z every reception of a feed speed pulse to move the work and the tool relatively in each direction and a subtraction pulse is supplied from one to the other distributor each other to operate a preset value. Then, the count of the register of the one distributor represents a range movable in a positive direction and the count of the other distributor represents a range movable in a negative direction. Thus, a prescribed processing is applied without need of a huge program or a skillful worker, and the program cost in case of a small hot production is less in the numerical controller.
