PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a projecting machine by using dot matrix cells as an original and projecting the original directly on a screen by using a dot matrix liquid crystal cell by using a spot light type light source. CONSTITUTION:The light beams from the light source 1 are converged on a focus F to obtain an approximately spot light source which has a specific angle of emission. The light beams from this light source 1 are reflected by a proper number of reflecting mirrors 2A, 2B, etc., in a case 4 until it spread enough to cover dot matrix liquid crystal calls 3. Then the light beams are emitted out of the case 4 at a proper elevation angle alpha suitable to projection after passing through the liquid crystal cells. Consequently, the small-sized projecting machine is obtained which is usable for a small-scale meeting and easy to move and carry.
