PURPOSE:To provide a fuel injection device which can regulate disorder of fuel pressure regulation due to a change in line resistance or a fuel return passage and the inner pressure of a fuel tank, by providing a pressure regulator in a fuel passage situated down a line from a fuel pressure regulator. CONSTITUTION:When a fuel pressure in a return passage 34 is increased, the pressure thereof is exerted on a fuel chamber 30 of a fuel pressure regulator 27 to increase a fuel pressure, which is exerted on a regulating chamber 36 of a pressure regulator 29 through a weighing part 28. However, since the abnormal fluctuation or the return passage 34 is propagated through a passage 40 to a back chamber 38 of the pressure regulator 29, a pressure equivalent to the increase is offset by means of the two surface of a diaphragm 37, and the pressure regulator 29 regulates a fuel pressure to its initial value at which the fuel pressure regulator 27 is controlled by a suction negative pressure. When a fuel pressure in the return passage 34 is decreased, the fuel pressure is regulated in a similar manner described above. Even when the fuel pressure is controlled by means of a venturi negative pressure, an abnormal fluctuation is offset by means of the two surfaces of the diaphragm of the pressure regulator to regulate a fuel pressure to a normal value responding to a venturi negative pressure. |
