PURPOSE:To achieve a purpose without forming a groove in the seal member containing part of a body, by providing a seat ring, positioned adjacent to a spring member and making contact with a ball, and a stopper ring, positioned on the inner diameter side of an annular spring member. CONSTITUTION:A spring member 5 is formed with an annular notch pipe 3, in which a notch is provided throughout the overall length in the longitudinal direction of an annular pipe, and a coil spring 2, inserted in the notch pipe 3 throughout the overall length thereof. A stopper ring 7, situated on the inner diameter side of the spring member 5, serves as a stopper which prevents the occurrence of compressive deformation strain when an excessive compression load is applied on the spring member 5. A ball valve is provided at a seat ring 1 with a cylindrical projection and therefore, a body has no groove, resulting in simplification of a shape.
