PURPOSE:To quickly pursue the factor of a fault by using a normal data processor to diagnose the sample data on the working state of a system bus of the processor to be diagnosed and stored in a diagnosis unit. CONSTITUTION:A diagnosis unit 100 which samples the working state of a system bus at an optional time point and stores it is connected to a normal data processor 200. The processor 200 instructs the sampling time point of said working state to the unit 100. Then a processor 300 to be diagnosed is connected to the unit 100 and the unit 100 gives an instruction to the processor 300 to start its working. Then the working state of the system bus of the processor 300 is stored in the unit 100. The processor 200 is connected to the unit 100 and gives an instruction to the unit 100 to read out the working state of the bus. This working state is outputted to a display device 230. Based on the display result of the device 230, the fault of the processor 300 is diagnosed. |
