This shield connector is provided with: a shield cable (11) in which a plurality of electric wires (12) are all surrounded by a shield layer (13) and an insulation coating (14); an inner housing (16) in which a plurality of terminals (15) connected to the plurality of electric wires (12) are accommodated; a shield shell (20) which covers the inner housing (16), and which is provided with a connection part (23) electrically connected to the shield layer (13) exposed at an end of the shield cable (11); and an outer housing (30) in which the shield shell (20) is accommodated, and which engages with a counterpart-side connector. The outer housing (30) is provided with: a main body part (31) into which the shield shell (20) can be inserted from an opening (31A) at the rear side in the fitting direction with respect to the counterpart-side connector; and a pair of covers (40A, 40B) which are integrally provided to the main body part (31) using hinges (39), and which occlude the opening (31A) and cover the connection part (23). The pair of covers (40A, 40B) have, provided thereto, first engagement means (43, 44) which engage with a counterpart-side cover, and second engagement means (45) which engage with the main body part. |
