PURPOSE:To uniformly promote the reaction of a raw material powder and to improve the productivity by constituting a furnace center tube with a ceramic cylindrical body and carbon which covers all the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:The inner part of a gas replacing room 3 is evacuated by the operation of an opening-closing valve 11a and the driving of vacuum pump. The material powder 2 is introduced to the gas replacing room 3 through a rotary seal valve 10 to carry out gas-replacing, and then introduced into a raw material room 4, and sent by a screw feeder 1 into the furnace center tube 5 at a specific feeding rate. The raw material introduced to the furnace center tube 5 is uniformly brought into contact with the inert gas flowed into the inner part with the rotation of the furnace center tube 5, and heated to a specific temp. by a heater 21. A specific chemical reaction is carried out there, and the raw material is reduced to a desired nonoxidized matter. |
