The invention relates to an espagnolette lock, as a result of the accoutrements of which the pushbolt and the espagnolettes are moved into the desired position, without the use of a key, by means of a pushbutton-like handle. The sprung pushbutton is connected to the push-bolt via a toggle joint, in such a way that the joint pin is received in a slot formed on obliquely and transmits lifting forces into the two joint arms as a result of the actuation of the pushbutton. The joint arms on the one hand are held rotationally movably at a fixed point and on the other hand displace the push-bolt out of the open position into the closed position. The lifting travel of the pushbutton and therefore the push of the bolt are limited in the opened position of the lock by stops in the pushbutton and lock cover. The fixing of the lock position is achieved by means of a shift slot which is formed in the pushbutton and into which penetrates a control part mounted in a lock-cover extension. The shift slot causes the retention and release of the pushbutton. As additional locking, a lock cylinder, by means of which the pushbutton can be blocked in the locking position, can be inserted into the pushbutton. <IMAGE>
