<p>A synthetic lubricating fluid which is prepared by compounding a cyclohexyl cyclohexanecarboxylate compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein n represents 0 to 5 and m represents 0 to 5, provided that n + m is 1 to 10; R1 groups may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and R2 groups may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms) or its derivative. This synthetic lubricating fluid is preferably used in power-transmitting devices, particularly traction drive devices.</p> |
