The invention relates to a device for optomechanically transforming light images, constituted by an alveolate grid 1 placed in front of a screen 2 on which the said images are formed, the walls of the alveoles 4 of the grid 1 being substantially orthogonal to the said screen and having a triangular cross-section. The device, according to the invention is characterised in that the triangular cross-sections of the alveoles 4 are equilateral triangles and the alveoles 4 are arranged along touching vertical columns 5, one of the triangular cross-section sides being vertical.
