PURPOSE:To improve the processing speed and to reduce the capacity of a control storage, by setting an end condition of a machine instruction in accordance with its operation code and then branching the conditions when the condition is satisfied. CONSTITUTION:An ROM is provided to produce the end conditions and a branch address in accordance with the operation code of a machine instruction in a machine instruction register IR. The end conditions is set to an instruction end conditions setting register STR and always compared with a status register STR through a comparator COMP. At the same time, the branch address is set to a branch address register BAR. When a coincidence is obtained between the registers STR and ECR, the contents of the register BAR is set to a control storage address register CSAR to be branched to a prescribed address. If a function is added to replace the contents of th ECR or BAR by the output of the comparator COMP, it is possible to decide the conditions at several areas in a microroutine. |
