PURPOSE:To enable a device to be operated in good order without monitoring the neutral potential of stator windings, by detecting the position of a rotor only through a voltage induced in the stator Windings, when current is not conducted to the stator windings. CONSTITUTION:In a state that current is not conducted to stator windings 7-12 by a electrical conduction control means 21, voltage induced to the stator windings 7-12 is detected by a position detecting means 20. The position detecting means 20 is composed of primary filters 14-16 attenuating switching noise and comparators 17-19. By the electrical conduction control means 21, the state of the output voltage of the comparators 17-19 is monitored, and after that, a switching element to be electrically conducted is determined, and a non-conductive time is counted, and the output of gate signal is generated according to the position of a rotor and is conducted to switching elements 1-6. |
