PURPOSE:To correct a variance of a spectral performance so that it can be split to an equal ratio, by supporting a pair of rectangular prisms so that at least one of them can move in the direction vertical to an optical axis, and adjusting a ratio of a reflected light and a transmission light by a polarization beam splitter. CONSTITUTION:Wedge-shaped double refraction prisms 20, 21 are inserted into the front of two pieces of polarization beam splitters 2 (3), and when the wedge- shaped double refraction prisms are moved relatively in the upper and lower directions, a distance of a laser light for passing through the inside of the double refraction prism can be made variable. A laser light 11 which is made incident on the polarization beam splitter 2 is converted to a circularly polarized light by using in advance a 1/4 wavelength plate, etc. In order to obtain a desired split by correcting a variance of a (p) wave component, the circularly polarized light is corrected to an elliptically polarized light. To change a ratio of each component can be executed by varying an optical path length as d$1 and d2.
