PURPOSE:To reduce deformations such as warp and bending after cooling to a min. limit, by moving a shape steel under the state being clamped with a fixing beam and a clamp part or a guide track and the clamp part. CONSTITUTION:The clamp part 23 of a clamp head 22 is stood by above the fixing beam 16, and the shape steel 1 is received by the beam 16 from roller table. The head 22 is lowered to clamp the steel 1 with the part 23 and the beam 16. A frame 17 having rail is raised to press the under surface of the steel 1 with the upper surface of the guide truck 21, and the steel 1 is clamped with the part 23 and the beam 16. Further the frame 17 is raised to raise the steel 1 from the beam 16. Under the state, the truck 21 is traveled, stopped at a prescribed position to put the steel 1 on the beam 16, then the head 22 is raised to release the steel 1. By the transferring means 14, deformation due to temp. difference in section can be minimized after cooling.
