PURPOSE:To centralize page control in reading and writing operations by equalizing the distance (number of bits) from a generator to a writing function part to the distance on a minor loop from a reading function part to the writing function part. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic bubble memory element of major-minor constitution is so constituted that the distance A on a major line 10 for writing from the generator 13 to the writing function part 14 is equal to the distance D on the minor loop 11 from the reading function part 15 to the writing function part 14. Consequently, an offset page need not be changed in writing and the page control is centralized.
