Wristwatch containing a liquid crystal display screen or the like controlled by an electronic circuit supplied by a battery or other electrical supply element. The constitutive elements 3 and 4 of the electronic circuit(s) for controlling the display screen 2 and this screen itself are incorporated into the strap 1 which is made of a flexible plastic or the like by shrouding these elements in the form of a thin flat band, the display screen being situated in the middle part of this strap. Moreover, the housing for the battery or other electrical power supply element is accommodated in a thicker part 7 situated at one of the ends of the strap 1, and which can carry an element for closing the latter. This wristwatch is intended to be worn around the wrist. <IMAGE>
