PURPOSE:To attempt to equalize a display color and a printed one by permitting a color display part to convert RGB density in a virtual palette into an RGB signal and to display it and rendering a color printing part to convert the RGB density in a color palette into CMY density and to print it. CONSTITUTION:A command showing data in a picture memory 12 is inputted from an input part 19. Receiving a display signal from a control part 21, the color display part 13 scans the memory 12, converts the RGB density in the virtual palette 18 corresponding to the data into the RGB signal, and transmits it to a color display 14. It receives and displays the RGB signal from the display part 13. In a printing processing step data in the command instructing that data in the memory 12 is printed is inputted from the input part 19. The color printing part 15 receives a printing signal from the control part 21, converts the RGB density in the color palette corresponding to the data into the CMY density, and transmits it to the color printer 16. It receives and prints the CMY density from the printing part 15.
