PURPOSE:To securely remove paper powder by simple constitution by providing a rotatable insulator sleeve which is charged to the opposite polarity from sticking paper powder by an incorporated discharging device nearby a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The rotatable cylindrical sleeve 15 made of a transparent insulator of acrylic resin, etc., is provided nearby the photosensitive body 4. A discharging part 14 which forms a discharging device together with a lamp 13 built in the sleeve 15 gives the sleeve 15 a charge with the opposite polarity from the paper powder sticking on the photosensitive body 4 and the paper powder which is weakened in sticking force by light irradiation from the lamp 13 moves to and sticks on the sleeve 15. Then, the paper powder whose sticking force is weakened by a discharging lamp 19 is cleaned away from the sleeve 15, so that the residual paper powder is removed securely from the photosensitive body by the simple constitution.
