PURPOSE:To input data quickly by selecting always preferentially a signal from keyboard input when data is inputted with voice input or keyboard input. CONSTITUTION:The voice inputted from a microphone 1 is subjected to the preprocessing and the feature analysis processing in a voice input part 2 and is collated with standard patterns by a speech recognizing part 3 to output a signal S corresponding to the recognition result. A character code generating part 4 sends a character code to a control part 7 if it is a control signal sc, but the generating part 4 sends it to a gate circuit 8 if it is a normal sound signal (s). In case of input by key depression on a keyboard 5, an output signal K is converted to a character code through an encoder 6, and the output signal is sent to the control part 7 if it is a control signal kc, but the output signal is sent to the gate circuit 9 if it is a normal character code (k). In case of release of the keyboard input preferential mode, a specific word for mode switching is spoken toward the microphone 1 to switch the mode to the voice input preferential mode. Thus, data is inputted quickly. |
