<p>PURPOSE:To retrieve information recorded in each area in a short time with no additional large-scale device, by successively changing reproducing areas in a mode in which the reproduction of information on a recording medium and high-speed running of a tape are repeated. CONSTITUTION:When an information retrieving instruction is given from an operating section 11, a system controller 12 starts the reproduction of CH 1 by setting data (n) for area designation to '1' and instructing a capstan control circuit 20 to start normal running and discriminates whether or not audio signals are recorded in a designated area by confirming the output of an RF detecting circuit 23. When the audio signals are recorded, the system controller 12 performs similar operations on CH 2 by counting up the data (n) by '1' after performing reproduction for 5sec. When the 5sec reproduction is completed to CH 6, the system controller 12 closes a gate circuit 16 by releasing the area designation by an area designating circuit 13 and, when 18sec have passed after starting the high-speed running of a tape, performs the above-mentioned operations by completing the high-speed running of the tape. Therefore, retrieval of the information of all channels becomes possible by running a tape only and no additional hardware is necessary.</p> |
