PURPOSE:To prevent the unnecessary developing while a photosensitive body is electrostatically charged without being laser-exposed by stopping the charging to the photosensitive body with a signal fed from an optical abnormality detecting means at the time of the abnormality of the optical system. CONSTITUTION:When a recording starting request is inputted from an interface circuit 32, the control signal of a laser lighting-up is sent through a control circuit 31 to a laser driver 33. On the other hand, from a beam position detecting circuit 34, a beam detecting signal is sent to the control circuit 31, the beam detecting signal is inputted even to an optical abnormality detecting circuit 35 as an optical abnormality detecting means, and when the beam detection is stopped, a charging stopping signal is sent from an optical abnormality detecting circuit 35 to an input control circuit 31. When the charging stopping signal is sent from the optical abnormality detecting circuit 35, a high pressure electric power source 36 is turned off and the charging to a photosensitive body 1 is stopped. |
