PURPOSE:To increase the compressive capability of a gasket in a sealing part, reduce moisture penetration, and improve storage static performance of a battery under high-temperature-high humidity by bending the end of a case so as to locate in the inside from the inner surface of the folded part of a sealing plate. CONSTITUTION:The figure shows the cross section of a copper oxide-lithium battery measuring 9.5mm in diameter and 2.7mm in height. A positive mix 2 is a molding of a mixture of copper oxide or copper pyrite, and a negative electrode 6 is a metallic lithium. A gasket 7 having an L-shaped cross section is interposed between a case 1 and a metal sealing plate 8 and the opening of the case 1 is bent to seal a battery. The opposite plate-shaped sealing plate 8 has a step 8a and folded part 8b in its circumference. The end 1a of the case 1 is bent so as to locate in the inside from the inner surface 8c of folded part of the sealing part. Thereby, the storage static performance of the battery under high temperature-high humidity is improved. |
