PURPOSE:To provide a polyamide compsn. having extremely high light resistance, containing fine inorg. particles coated with a Cu compd. and an Mn compd. CONSTITUTION:A light-resistant polyamide compsn. is obtd. by incorporating fine inorg. particles (e.g., TiO2, etc.) coated with a Cu compd. (e.g., CuCl, CuI, etc.) and an Mn compd. (e.g., manganese borate, etc.) in a polyamide (e.g., nylon 6, nylon 66, etc.). By incorporating the fine inorg. particles coated with a Cu compd. and an Mn compd., a polyamide compsn. having extremely high light resistance which could not be achieved by conventional compsn. can be obtd.
