<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to freely bend a whole connecting part to pass a rope with an eye part through a block etc. by universally connecting two swinging members, and rotatably joining the swinging members to a wire rope with a connecting pin. CONSTITUTION:A connecting fitting 1 comprises swinging members 2 universally connected through a barrel body 3. The swinging members 2 therefore rotate around a supporting shaft 4, and swing around a pin 5 perpendicularly to rotational direction. In addition, the other ends of the swinging members 2 are provided with joining pieces 2a, 2c projecting in parallel with each other, and a pin hole 7 is drilled on the joining piece 2a, and a thread hole 7' is machined on the joining piece 2c. The other swinging members 2 are given similar processes. In order to join wire ropes 8 to the connecting fitting 1, after the eye part 8' of one of the wire ropes 8 to be connected has been positioned between the joining pieces 2a, 2c of one of the swinging members 2, a joining pin 6 is inserted in the pin hole 7 of the joining piece 2a and the eye part 8', and then a thread part 6b is screwed in a thread hole 7'.</p> |
