The present invention concerns a device for sanding frozen road surfaces and comprises an insulated container 3 which is mounted on a vehicle and has an internal space 4 that can be filled with sand, and members 11 for dispensing and spreading the sand, the said members 11 opening out near the roadway, and a heating arrangement 5 extends through the internal space 4 and essentially around the said members 11, the sand being heated and then spread over the roadway in the heated state. <IMAGE> |
