PURPOSE:To provide an erroneous action confirming device capable of securely detecting an erroneous action and completely removing an unrequired sheet generated by the erroneous action, even when a sealing operation is performed in the absence of a paper detection signal. CONSTITUTION:A sealer comprises a driving shaft 12 constantly driven to rotate by a drive source through a belt 13, an output shaft 7 fitted with a sealing rotary body 8, a clutch mechanism (consisting of a solenoid 11, a clutch arm 14, a clutch spring 15 or the like) for selectively coupling the shafts 12, 7 to transmit a driving force, and a means (paper feed detector 5, 5') for generating an operating signal for the clutch mechanism. In said sealer, a means for detecting the rotation of the output shaft 7 is provided which consists of a light-shielding disk 16 provided at the other end of the shaft 7 and a photo-interrupter 17, and a means is provided for stopping the drive (e.g., feeding-out of a paper) when an output shaft rotation detection signal is generated in the absence of a clutch- operating signal from the detector 5, 5'. |
