PURPOSE:To speed up processing and to improve image quality by processing a photosensitive material contg. a compd. releasing an inhibitor for forming a silver salt having a solubility product with Ag<+> of a specified value or lower during development with a bleaching soln. contg. one or two kinds of specified org. ferric complex salts. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photographic sensitive material contg. a DIR coupler contg. a development inhibitor releasing compd. (DIR compd.) releasing the inhibitor for forming a silver salt having a solubility product with Ag<+> of <=1X10<-9>, or tetraazaindene deriv. or 6-amino-purine deriv. is developed, and then, processed with a bleaching soln. contg. one or more kinds of ferric complex salts selected from two groups of the group A composed of 12 kinds of org. acid ferric complex salts, such as ferric diethylenetriamine pentaacetate complex salt and ferric diethylenetriamine pentaphosphate complex salt, and the group B of org. acid ferric complex salts capable of forming a specified standard soln. having an oxidation reduction potential difference of <=100mV in a pH of 5.0-9.0. As a result, an image superior in image quality and good in storage stability to be obtained by bleaching processing for a time as short as about 3min. |
