PREPARATION FOR MAKING OF FIBER GLASS PREFORM

A fiber glass was obtd. by (A) belching out raw glass and combustion gas from a burner, (B) flame-hydrolysis of raw glass in the combustion gas and layer-integration of corpuscular glass, and (C) sinter-limpidifying and processing. Phosphorus is eliminated by up 1L/min of He flow rate in the sinter-limpidifying. The fraction of phosphorus compd. in the total synthetic glass is 0.01-1mol.%.
