PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material satisfying both characteristics of a strength and a flexibility, and a high NA and a low transmission loss etc. by using a fluorosiloxane contg. a perfluoroalkylether group having a specific structure as a clad material. CONSTITUTION:The fluoropolysiloxane shown by formula I is used as the clad material for an optical transmission fiber using plastic clad. In formula I, Rf is a perfluoroalkylether group shown by formula II, Y is a bivalent org. group, R' is an alkyl group. In formula II, X is F resisting and oil resisting properties and does not peel off from the core under a sever use condition. And the optical transmission fiber having a high aperture number and a low transmission loss may be obtd. |
