PURPOSE:To simplify the formation of a circuit by providing a knock detecting circuit which outputs a knock pulse signal from the output signal of a knock sensor, and a correcting means for correcting ignition timing based on an internal interruption signal. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 4 calculates the optimum ignition timing and an electrifying time to an ignition coil 8 based on information on rotation angle from a reference angle sensor 1 and an angle sensor 2, and information on driving condition from a various driving condition sensor 5, and outputs an ignition signal IGt. The output (a) of a knock sensor 11 is inputted into a knock detecting circuit 12. A knock pulse signal (d) is inputted into the event counter terminal 21 of the microcomputer 4 and corrects ignition timing based on an internal interruption signal. Thus, the correction of ignition timing corresponding to the intensity of knocking can be carried out, reducing a burden to the microcomputer, while simplifying the formation of a circuit. |
