In a zinc-bromine secondary battery, the battery body or the battery electrodes are rotated during charge and/or discharge operation to eliminate the arrangement of any electrolyte circulating system. Since the bromine complex is appropriately diffused on the electrode surfaces, the battery energy efficiency can be improved without producing zinc dendrite and increasing the overvoltage. The rotational speed of the battery is 2 r.p.m. or more where the electrode diameter is about 40 cm. |
