Device for the cable control of two braking members 20, 21, associated respectively with two wheels of a vehicle, of the type comprising an operating lever 4 connected by a primary cable 3 inside a sheath 14 to a mobile part 6, itself connected by a secondary cable 8 inside a sheath 13 to one 21 of the braking members and in which the sheath 14 in which the primary cable 3 slides is supported on the mobile part 6 whilst the sheath 13 in which the secondary cable 8 slides is supported between two fixed stops, characterised by the fact that a portion of the primary cable 3 extends beyond the mobile part 6 as far as the other braking member 20.
