<p>This invention relates to a bed for baby carriages which is referred to as "box type" and is in the form of unitary box as a whole comprising a bottom wall (2), a front wall (3), a back wall (4), and left-hand and right-hand side walls (5, 6). In such boxlike bed, when the walls disposed in the front region are removed to open the front, the bed takes the form of a chair. The arrangement for making this change comprises a pair of upper side frames (11) which suspends the front portions of the left-hand and right-hand side walls (5,6). The upper side frames extend along the upper sides of the front portions of the left-hand and right-hand side walls (5, 6) and are turnably supported at their rear ends by transverse shafts.</p> |
