PURPOSE:To allow a sheet to be naturally separated from a rotating body by configurating a device in such a way that a conveying roller on the side of the rotating body is made of a material softer than that of another conveying roller on the opposite side allowing the sheet to be forwarded while it is being curled in a device feeding the sheet to a carrier drum and the like. CONSTITUTION:A conveying roller 1B on the opposite side to a rotating body 2 in a sheet conveying device is an ordinary roller made of hard rubber and the like, and this roller 1B allows a sheet A to be forwarded toward the circumferential surface 2a of the rotating body 2 in cooperating with a conveying roller 1A which rotates while it touches the rotating body. Besides, the conveying roller 1A is made of rubber softer than that of the conveying roller 1B. That is, when the roller 1B is made of hard rubber, the roller 1A is made of soft rubber which is sufficiently softer than the hard rubber described above. Accordingly, when the sheet A is forwarded toward the circumferential surface 2a of the rotating body 2 as a result of the rotation of both the rollers 1A and 1B, as the sheet A is curled toward the direction the sheet is parting from the circumferential surface 2a, the sheet A is naturally separated from the circumferential surface 2a.
