PURPOSE:To prevent an error by ununiformity of a moving speed of a slider by detecting a speed when the slider passes the origin and correcting positional data taken out according to a movement of the slider by the detected speed value. CONSTITUTION:A mark 101 is provided on a part of the slider 100 and on the other hand, a position sensor 201 detecting the mark 101 and a time base generator 205 generating a pulse according to a moving amount of the mark 101 are provided on a prescribed point of a moving course of the slider 100 and along the moving course respectively. Then, the speed when the slider 100 passes the origin is calculated by counting the number of the pulses given from the time base generator 205 in a prescribed time from the passing of the slider 100 through the origin with a position counter 203 and the positional data by the signal generator 205 are corrected according to the speed by sing an address table 210 or the like.
