PURPOSE:To permit the easy production of a disk and to simplify an information recording and reproducing medium by providing an antireflection film on the surface of a light transmittable substrate on the side to be irradiated with light. CONSTITUTION:The antireflection film 1 consisting of, for example, ZnS or SiO is deposited by evaporation on the surface of the light transmittable substrate 2 consisting of, for example, polycarbonate on the side to be irradiated with light. For example, TeOx is deposited by evaporation as a recording layer 3 on the rear surface of the substrate 2. A light transmittable substrate 5 similar to the substrate 2 is adhered thereto by a UV resin, etc. to improve the mechanical characteristics thereof. The reflected light from the surface of the light transmittable substrate on the side to be irradiated with light is eliminated from the incident light on the optical disk by the antireflection film and the reflected light is only from the recording layer. The interference of the reflected light is therefore eliminated and the noise is decreased. The stable point of focusing servocontrol is only the recording layer and the stable pull-in of te focusing servocontrol is made possible. Since the reflected light is eliminated, the transmitted light is increased and the utilizing efficiency of the light is improved. |
