Process comprises use of a laminated packaging material consisting of two thermoplastic films metallised on one surface and combined by an adhesive layer between the metallised faces. One film is composed of polyethylene glycol terephthalate. It is of use for packaging solid foods such as beverage powders, e.g. dried milk, soluble coffee or tea, soups, also wafers, dried fruit, and consumables contg. liq., e.g. fruit preserves, vegetables and esp. tomatoes.
