The invention relates to a casement unit integrating a solid shutter, this unit being designed so as to be fastened to the blank outer surface of the façade and to receive inner mirrors in the reveal and on the shelf. This casement unit comprises a fixed frame 1 integral with an inner framing 3. This frame comprises on its periphery a seal 8 making it possible to enclose a non-vented sheet of air between the casement and a shutter 2 when the latter is closed. The fixed frame and the framing 3 are designed in order to receive inner mirrors in the reveal and on the shelf in order to improve the illumination of the room. The shutter 2 receives, when it is put into use, a profile section 6 around which the rendering can be moulded, while reserving a functional play when this profile section is removed. <IMAGE>
