PURPOSE:To operate automatically the evaluation system of a packet level protocol by operating an application program corresponding to a packet level checked, line, a diagnosis line and its high-order in one and the same electronic computer system. CONSTITUTION:The application program 2-1 of the diagnosis line is started at first from a display input/output device 1. The application program 2-1 requests rising a line without packet level to a communication management program group 5. Then an application program 2-2 for checked packet line is started. The succeeding application program 2-2 for checked packet line requests leading to the packet line to the communication management program group 5. Then the two application programs 2-1, 2-2 apply data transfer while notifying the difference between handled data levels. Thus, the diagnosis side application program 2-1 can observe a data transmitted/received by the packet control program in the communication management program group 5.
