PURPOSE:To improve fixability and offset resistance and to extend the life of a photosensitive body made of amorphous Se, amorphous Se-Te or the like by using a toner composed essentially of a polyester resin synthesized by using a specified catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The toner is composed essentially of the polyester resin synthesized by using a catalyst contg. no metal atom except Na and Li, and in the case of such a polyester resin, a low mol.wt. resin can be comparatively easily prepared and the toner is improved in wettability to a transfer or the like when melted, and can be fixed at a low temp. Since the resin is synthesized with a catalyst contg. no metal atom except Na and Li, and it does not contain any of components for accelerating crystallization of amorphous Se or Se-Te, the life of such a photosensitive body can be extended, thus permitting the photosensitive body to be enhanced in fixability and offset resistance, and to be lengthened in life in the case of the amorphous Se type photosensitive body. |
