PURPOSE:To obtain favorable printing quality, by a method wherein a ground electrode is provided between a mask sheet and an ink sheet, a high-voltage electrode is disposed on the back side of a printing material, and the ink sheet and the printing material are brought into close contact with each other through electrostatic charging. CONSTITUTION:A voltage is impressed between an earth roller 110 making contact with a conductive light-shielding layer 103 of a mask sheet and a recording needle 111 from an electrical signal source 109, thereby forming a mask perforated in the layer 103. The mask sheet 101 is laid on the ink sheet 104 comprising a base 105 coated on its lower side with a thermoplastic ink layer 106 which is melted by heat rays, and the printing material 107 is placed thereon. The ground electrode 112 is clamped between the mask sheet and the ink sheet, and a high voltage is impressed on the high-voltage electrode 113 disposed on the back side of the printing material, whereby the ink sheet 104 and the printing material are brought into close contact with each other by electrostatic charges being generated. |
