PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of system by connecting a central transmitter and plural terminal transmitters by a double loop transmission line comprising an optical fiber and an electric signal line and troubleshooting the optical cable system through the electric signal line. CONSTITUTION:A central station 1 has a signal transmission section 3 and a signal transmission control section 7 in an automobile use multiplex communication system to apply signal transmission control with terminal stations 2a, 2b... and to control electric devices 10a-10n. The central station 1 and the terminal stations 2a, 2b... are connected by the double loop transmission line consisting of a loop transmission line comprising the optical fibers 5a-5d and a loop transmission line comprising the electric signal lines 6a-6d. The terminal stations 2a, 2b... have respectively the signal transmission sections 4a, 4b... and signal control sections 8a, 8b... to control electric devices 9a-9b and 11a-11l. The control section 7 controls the two kinds of the transmission lines at the system start so that they are operated at the same time, the optical fiber system is troubleshooted via the electric signal lines 6a-6d and a faulty terminal station is detected and displayed by the central station. |
