PURPOSE:To obtain simple and positive modification of a body in various vehicle types, by forming the reference mounting face for a cabin or load-carrying platform by the upper surface of a body frame structure and the rising wall of a bulged portion extending from the upper surface of a wheel-arranging side portion of the structure. CONSTITUTION:A base unit 1 includes a body frame structure 3 having at least a power unit 2 and provided with wheels 4, 5 arranged in the front and rear portions thereof, and a bulged portion 7 extending from the upper surface 3a of a wheel-arranging side portion 6 in the front of rear portion of the structure 3. The bulged portion 7 and the wheel-arranging side portion 6 define a storing space 8 for the power unit 2, and the rising wall surface 7a of the bulged portion 7 and the upper surface 3a of the structure 3 define the reference mounting face 10 for a cabin 9 or a load-carrying platform. Thus constructed, various types of cabins 9 or load-carrying platforms can be located on the base unit 1 by the reference mounting face 10. This allows the body to be modified in various vehicle types. |
