PURPOSE:To increase the displacement of an output section, by providing a first bimorph supported at both ends thereof and a second bimorph fixed on one face of the first bimorph at one end thereof, the other end of the second bimorph providing the output section. CONSTITUTION:First and second bimorphs 11 and 21 have an elongated sheet shape in which a pair of piezoelectric elements 12 and 13, and 22 and 23, respectively, are overlaid to form an integral body. The elements are provided with electrodes 12a, 12b, 13a and 13b and electrodes 22a, 22b, 23a and 23b, respectively, on both faces thereof. Both the ends of the first bimorph 21 are supported by support members 14a and 14b. The second bimorph 21 is displaced to be along the same direction with the first bimorph 11 when a predetermined voltage is applied between the electrodes, and one end 21a is fixed on the first bimorph 11 through insulation member 31. When a predetermined voltage is applied to the bimorphs 11 and 21, the first bimorph 11 is curved such that it is displaced most at the center 11a thereof, and the displacement at the tip end 21b of the second bimorph 21 is remarkably increased. |
