PURPOSE:To optimize a cross modulation distortion generated by a high output amplifier, by providing a means for varying at least one of an output level of a distortion generator or a phase transition quantity of a delaying circuit by using a transmitting power control signal, in the high output amplifier for a satellite communication transmitting device. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate frequency linearizer 5 is provided with a variable phase device 55 between a delaying circuit 52 and a hybrid 51, a variable attenuator 56 between a distortion generator 53 and the hybrid 51, and a control circuit 57 for inputting a transmitting power control signal and varying the variable phase device 55 and the variable attenuator 56. In such a constitution, the control circuit 57 receives a transmitting power control signal outputted from a transmitting power controlling circuit 62, and varies the variable phase device 55 and the variable attenuator 56 so that a phase and a level of a distortion generated by the distortion generator 53 are matched to conform with a phase and a level of a cross modulation distortion generated by a high output amplifier 2 which is varied by a variable transmitting power.
