PURPOSE:To provide a film composed of a specific saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, having excellent heat retaining property especially at night, moderate water-permeability to suppress the generation of vermin, high strength and resistance to deterioration with time. CONSTITUTION:A film composed of a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having an ethylene content of 15-55mol% and saponification degree of the vinyl acetate component of >=80mol%, and having a water-permeability of 400-6,000g/cm<2>.24hr and folding endurance of 10<4>-10<6> (by JIS P8115). The composition is preferably incorporated further with 1-50wt% polyamide, polyvinyl chloride or chlorinated polyolefin. The film has a thickness of 5-200mu, and a density (dg/cm<3>) satisfying the formula 1.297-4.3X10<-3>X<d<1.320-4.3X10<-3>X (X is mol% of ethylene in EVOH). |
