PURPOSE:To relieve a very busy called subscriber to validate the called given to him/her and to increase the chances of conversations for the subscriber, by attaining the voice calls to a multi-function telephone at the side of the called subscriber through a general telephone or a multi-function telephone having no voice call key. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 209 judges the validity or invalidity of the hooking produced in a calling state based on the system data of a memory 210. Then the processor 209 catches an idle register circuit 200 when the validity of the hooking is decided. The circuit 200 is connected to a telephone 206 via a general telephone control circuit 205 in preparation for the reception of numeric characters. Then a special dial tone is sent to the telephone 206 and the telephone 206 dials an access code for voice calling. The circuit 200 receives the numeric characters corresponding to the relevant access code through a switch 201 and transmits the information to the processor 209 via an interface circuit 208. The processor 209 enables a voice call to a called subscriber who gives no answer through the telephone 206. Thus the called subscriber called out through a speaker device can give a hand-free answer. |
