摘要 PURPOSE:To improve brightness of a light emitting screen, together with preventing missing of dots on a superhigh resolution tube by forming a fluorescent screen in a shape in which phosphor luminous elements are constituted in two layers with the average particle diameter of the second layered phosphor being larger than that of the first layered phosphor. CONSTITUTION:A green phosphor layer 5, whose average particle diameter is six micron or so, is formed on a panel 1 comprising a black matrix 2, and then a green phosphor layer 6, whose average particle diameter is eleven micron or so, is followingly formed thereon. A blue phosphor layer 7 formed in small particle diameter and a blue phosphor layer 8 formed in large particle diameter are provided respectively in the first layer and the second one, and then red phosphor layers 3 and 4 are provided respectively in the first layer of small particle diameter and the second layer of large particle diameter to form a fluorescent screen of a cathode ray tube for color display. Therefore, missing of dots can be prevented on a small particle phosphor body and the large particle diameter phosphor can be used, with luminous efficiency being improved.
