PURPOSE:To prevent an ink donor film from getting loosened by providing the stress absorption guide with a flexible support means capable of following sagging of the film. CONSTITUTION:A feed roll 5 to feed out an ink donor film intermittently in response to the printing cycle and getting accelerated as the feed rate goes up continues running due to the force of inertia even after ink donor film feed is over, thus causing the ink donor film 3 to unwind excessively. As there occurs sagging due to excessive unwinding of the ink donor film, a spring 8 with elastic ity extends to have the stress absorption guide 6A follow sagging of the film 3, thereby the ink donor film is property tensioned constantly, whereby the film 3 is assuredfreedom from getting loosened even when the feed roll 5 continues running, overfeeding the film, since the stress absorption guide 6 immediately follows sagging of the film 3. |
