PURPOSE:To add in succession with welding the end part of a strip plate on both running trucks by equipping the preceding truck to travel at the speed of a work line with gripping the rear end of the preceding strip plate and the succeeding truck to travel with gripping the tip of the succeeding strip plate and by unifying both trucks. CONSTITUTION:A preceding truck 1, succeeding truck 2 have the main body 1a, 2a of the truck of a portal truck to bridge the roller 3 of the feeding line of a strip plate W as its base body and travels with putting its wheel 5 on the rail 4 laid along the feeding line. When the balance of the preceding plate W to travel the work line is reduced, this state is processed by a signal and the preceding truck 1 and the succeeding truck 2 in succession are both ready for ahead. When the succeeding truck 2 comes up with the preceding truck 1, they are connected by a connection mechanism 21 and the rear end of the preceding plate and the tip of the succeeding plate are then abutted and welded by a welder 22. With this mechanism the accumulator to store the strip plate once is disused and a space saving and energy saving are enabled. |
